Day 2
Breakfast at the hotel. Beginning of the tour of Oslo , the capital of the Vikings that takes on a particularly unforgettable glow during the long summer days, protected from behind by wooded hills   and sloping towards the sea and the bottom of the Oslofjord : Karl Johans gate , a street-salon, main artery of the city; Kongelige Slott , a lush park where the Royal Palace still stands; Stortinger (Parliament), erected during the mid-1800s, with the nearby Grand Café , frequented by intellectuals. A visit to the Domkirke (Evangelical cathedral) with its precious bronze door, windows by E. Vigeland, and Flemish masterpieces.   Visit to the Nasjonalgalleriet , the leading art gallery in Norway, rich in masterpieces by Norwegian and foreign artists, including a large collection of the works of Munch.
Visit of the Rådhuset (City Hall), symbol of the city where the Nobel Prize Award ceremony is held each year. A walk around the buildings and museums until we reach the Akersbakken , with its old painted wooden houses. Visit to the Gamle Aker Kirke, the oldest stone church of the capital. Transfer to Munchmuseet and visit to the richest collection of masterpieces by the most famous Norwegian artist and forerunner of Expressionism.

Day 3
Breakfast at the hotel. Completion of the tour of Oslo by private coach: Vigeland Park , the most famous in Norway and one of the most beautiful in all of Scandinavia, conceived and constructed by the sculptor G. Vigeland, who populated it with 192 sculpture groups and 671 personages that narrate the phases of life. On to Bygdøy, a small peninsula where there is still the magnificent royal wood with the farm and stalls of the royal family amidst splendid villas and embassies. After a brief walk we visit to the Vikingskiphuset, the "House of the Viking ships", used by the ancient populations of navigators for their expeditions towards the coasts of the North Sea. This museum holds vessels from the 9th and 10th centuries, embellished with ornamental sculptures, a Viking wagon, sleds, and domestic effects.

Day 4
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer by private coach to the Oslo railway station and departure by train for the Sognefjord , which penetrates inland for 204 kilometres into a region surrounded by steep rocky cliffs, spectacular waterfalls, and narrow valleys where we can admire some of the most beautiful and wild landscapes of Norway. We head for Flåm , a lovely village situated on the inner branch of the Sognefjord . The Flåm railway is one of the most extraordinary in the world: the trip between the fjord and the mountains climbs for nearly 900 metres, a slope of 1 to 18 metres, and a spiral tunnel in the heart of the moutain, fairy-tale villages, and breathtaking panoramas. Room assignment at the Fretheim Hotel in Flåm and on for a cruise in the Nærøyfjorden , the narrowest fjord in Europe, between towering mountains (1800 m), small traditional farms, and perhaps herds of seals along the shores. Landing in Gudvangen and return by private coach to Flåm.

Day 5
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the port of Flåm for a panoramic cruise across the Sognefjord to truly enjoy the unique and mysterious charm of the hidden, intimate, and grandiose Norway of once upon a time. The scenery offers unexpected and constantly changing landscapes, which vary from bucolic farmlands to barren and desolate areas of this Nordic terrain. Continuing along the Norwegian coast as far as the beautiful and captivating Bergen, which appears suddenly with its message of times past and present. Transfer in private coach to Os, settling into the rooms of the Hotel Solstrand, located on the shore of the Bjørnefjord fjord and considered one of the most welcoming and suggestive hotels in all of Norway.

Day 6
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Bergen, the "gateway to the fjords" declared Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO, which extends around the Gulf of Vågen and overlooks countless islands arranged in a labyrinth. The old warehouses painted red make this port one of the most beautiful of the coast and the historic town centre has maintained the charm and atmosphere of the ancient Hanseatic capital, with the coloured wooden houses that belonged to the traders of the Hansa, the narrow little roads, the picturesque shops, appetizing restaurants, and the famous fish market keep this town bustling. We walk around the city centre, and visit the ancient and stupendous church of Fantoft Stave, constructed in the 12 th century with the characteristic technique of working wood with carved joints. Continue on to visit the residence of the renowned Norwegian composer Edvard Grieg and the port, with its picturesque fish market. A ride up the Fløibanen cable railway to the top of Mount Fløyen, which offers splendid views of the city, the fjords, and the surrounding mountains. In the late afternoon, return by private coach to Hotel Solstrand.
