AN ENCHANTING JOURNEY THROUGH THE ROAD OF LOVE, THE BEAUTIFUL CINQUE TERRE AND THE TREASURES OF THE LIGURIAN RIVIERA

Day 1
Arrival and transfer by private motorcoach to the enchanting village of Portovenere . Check-in at our hotel, welcome drink and presentation of the program. Dinner in a scenic restaurant near the seaside where you will enjoy a beautiful view on the Ligurian coast.

Day 2
After breakfast, we will start our discovery of the Cinque Terre walking along the beautiful trails of the famous Road of Love , that connects Riomaggiore to Manarola . Here visit a producer of Sciacchetrà , a delicious and rare sweet wine of the area. We then continue to Corniglia , perched 100 metres high above the sea and we reach spectacular Vernazza with its vertical landscapes. Return to Portovenere by train. Enjoy dinner at a family-run restaurant and taste Ligurian wine and typical dishes.

Day 3
After breakfast, take the boat across the Gulf of Poets to the island of Palmaria , declared World Heritage Site by Unesco. We walk along the island's hilly trails, visit inviting coves and learn about its unusual plants, marbles and birds. We stop on a beautiful beach where we may take a refreshing swim and eat lunch on the seashore.

Day 4
In the morning transfer by train to Vernazza , to begin walking the last part of the Cinque Terre to Monterosso al Mare . This route takes us through olive groves and we will learn all about Ligurian olive oil making en route. In Monterosso visit the old and new part of the town and proceed on to Levanto , rich in noble Art Déco houses. From Levanto transfer back to Portovenere by train.

Day 5
Check out and transfer to Camogli , a fishermen's village with bright coloured buildings of climbing houses and narrow alleys. Walk to the unique abbey complex of San Fruttuoso , situated in a small rocky cove reachable only on foot or by sea. Visit the 12 th century abbey, cloister and church. Continue by ferry boat to Portofino , check-in at Splendido Hotel, and prepare to spend the evening in this charming town.

Day 6
Discover Portofino and its mount, declared National Park. Walk through wooded areas along the promontory to the scenic lighthouse and then down to the enchanting small beach of Olivetta . Spend the evening walking around the town and tasting a truly Ligurian "aperitivo" in one of the local wineries. In the evening transfer back to the hotel and enjoy the farewell dinner especially prepared for you at the Splendido Hotel.

Day 7
After breakfast transfer by private motorcoach to Milano Malpensa airport for your return flight or to any other destination you may request.
